Lucy makes every piece of L'Islet Pottery by hand in Guernsey. Because each piece is handmade, there will always be small differences in shape and glaze.

Mugs are the most popular Christmas gift. Bowls, plates, jugs and vases make lovely presents too, particularly for someone who enjoys cooking or has recently moved home.

Garlic graters, spoon rests and candles make useful little presents, stocking fillers or Secret Santa gifts.

Custom pieces usually take six to eight weeks. For Christmas orders, please get in touch by mid-October, particularly if you would like a particular item or glaze.

Lucy works in small batches, so the selection changes after each kiln firing. Shopping earlier gives you more choice, although new pieces are added throughout the run-up to Christmas.
