This website is operated by L'Islet Pottery, a small pottery business based in Vale, Guernsey. By using this site or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

Products

All pottery is handmade. Each piece is unique and may vary slightly in size, shape, colour and glaze from what is shown in photographs. This is part of the nature of handmade work and is not a defect.

Pricing and payment

All prices are in GBP and include any applicable taxes. Payment is taken at the time of ordering through SumUp. We do not store your card details.

Orders and collection

All orders are for collection from the pottery stall at Houmet Lane, L'Islet, Vale, Guernsey. We do not currently offer shipping.

Lucy will email you when your order is ready for collection. Please collect within a reasonable time.

Custom orders

Custom orders are made to your specification (item and glaze choice). Allow 6-8 weeks. As each piece is made by hand, slight variations are normal. Custom orders cannot be cancelled once work has begun.

Returns and refunds

If there is a problem with your order (damage, wrong item), please contact studio@lisletpottery.gg and we will sort it out.

Because each piece is handmade and unique, we do not offer refunds for change of mind. Custom orders are non-refundable once production has started.

Care of your pottery

All pottery is dishwasher and microwave safe unless otherwise stated. Hand washing is recommended to keep your pieces looking their best for longer.

Liability

We take care to photograph and describe items accurately, but colours may vary slightly depending on your screen. We are not liable for any indirect losses arising from the use of this website or purchase of our products.
